Our client is a growing offshore equipment and services provider with a global presence.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Lead to join our client's expanding Americas team. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing equipment preparation, mobilization, maintenance, and servicing for both onshore and offshore client projects. This is a key position in establishing the company's presence in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead equipment preparation, mobilization, and demobilization processes in accordance with company procedures
Perform equipment testing including winch wire spooling, hydraulic systems testing, and flushing
Manage the inspection, quarantine, and tagging of returned equipment
Complete and process all necessary documentation for equipment movements
Conduct and document inspections of equipment before and after deployment
Maintain inventory control of major equipment and consumables
Identify, arrange, and undertake equipment repairs, recertification, and maintenance
Execute preventive maintenance programs and equipment upgrades
Maintain accurate service records in company software systems
Lead equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures
Liaise with project teams and operations staff to ensure efficient workflow
Ensure all work complies with relevant Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines
Act as a positive ambassador for the company with clients and stakeholders
Key Requirements
Experience maintaining and operating offshore equipment
Background in mechanical and/or hydraulic roles preferred
Strong knowledge of hydraulic components is essential
Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical hook-up experience
Team leadership experience in a technical environment preferred
Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Forklift license preferred
Strong IT skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
