The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer to lead the business through its next phase of development and growth. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving strategic direction, and engaging with key clients, investors, and stakeholders. Working with a, specialist team, you will be responsible for and manage the full lifecycle of service delivery—from planning through to successful execution—with an emphasis on safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organisation with clarity of vision and strong operational control
Oversee project planning, supply chain management, and the timely delivery of services
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
Drive business development initiatives and support strategic growth objectives
Foster a high-performance culture with a fair and clear leadership approach
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Represent the organisation with external investors and partners, understanding and aligning with their key drivers
Guide long-term strategy, budgeting, and commercial planning
Make key decisions that will affect the company's direction
Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace
Key Requirements
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will lead the overall strategy, technical and financial performance as well as the ongoing operations of the company. Provide leadership, motivation and direction to ensure company targets, strategy and outputs are managed to the benefit of all stakeholders whilst ensuring the ongoing success of the organisation.
A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrable leadership, decision making and communication skills
Have a proven track record in senior leadership roles within a relevant technical, civil or engineering environment.
A background in mechanical or electrical engineering is strongly preferred
Understand how to scale a business organically
First-hand experience managing project delivery, operations, and supply chain logistics
Demonstrable experience of interpreting business financials including cash flow, balance sheet, cost planning and effectively managing the outcomes
A good understanding of the regulatory and safety landscape in the wind power sector
Strong commercial acumen and evidence of executing growth strategies
High emotional intelligence and client-facing professionalism
Demonstrable experience engaging with external investors and key strategic stakeholders
Have a high degree of personal drive and ambition to succeed
