The Role
Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Document Controller to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for implementation, operation and safeguarding of our Client’s information management system. This will involve the use of appropriate tools to manage and control the evolution and flow of information. The ideal candidate will also have experience as Technical Writer, being able to record and produce high quality reports.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management: this includes, unique identification, filing and change management of technical documentation.
Ensure the accuracy and relevancy of technical and commercial documentation.
Manage the control and distribution of technical and commercial documentation.
Review and update information management systems and procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality around sensitive information.
Support the production of ad hoc reports as needed.
Key Requirements
Skills & Experience
Required:
BSc degree in project management or relevant field.
Proven experience working in a document controller role.
Strong ability to communicate clearly.
Experience as a document controller in a large technical organisation or similar.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong command of MS Office packages.
Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Good note taking skills and attention to detail.
Experience dealing with sensitive information.
Desired:
Experience in supporting the drafting of contracts.
Experience in supporting Engineering Management in drafting high-level reports.
Experience liaising with IT to resolve EDMS issues.
Experience with driving the implementation of information Management Systems.
Experience in using Monday.com.
Marine or civil nuclear experience would be highly advantageous.
