Our client is a global aviation services provider supporting critical helicopter operations across offshore and onshore environments, recognised for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality engineering support in demanding operational settings.


The Role

Our client is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1.3) to support their Line Engineering operation in Aberdeen on a contract basis. This requirement covers different types of short-term contracts. The role involves performing and certifying line maintenance activities on rotary aircraft, ensuring continued airworthiness and compliance with regulatory and company maintenance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and certify aircraft maintenance including scheduled inspections, MODs, and defect rectification

  • Maintain acceptable airworthiness and maintenance standards

  • Issue certifications within the scope of authorisation

  • Report incidents or lapses in quality relating to aircraft, tools, equipment, or facilities


Key Requirements

Skills & Experience 

  • CAA B1.3 Licence (consideration may be given to candidates holding an A Licence)

  • Relevant helicopter maintenance experience (AW189 / S92 preferred but not essential)

  • Strong safety focus, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within small teams

  • Must have the current right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Roster Patterns

Aberdeen-based roster options include 4 on / 4 off, 6 on / 4 off, 4 on / 6 off, with potential for Mon–Fri or 14/14 patterns, working 11-hour shifts.
