We are looking to employ a degree qualified, enthusiastic and passionate Recruitment Trainee for our West London office. Mentored and supported by our existing recruitment consultants, you will play a crucial role in the sourcing, recruitment and placing of industry professionals within diverse sectors across global locations. You will have the opportunity to work on some of our most technically exciting and diverse vacancies including for example - Software Engineers, Manufacturing Coordinators, IT Directors, Engineers and Business Analysts in addition to many other roles for major, internationally recognised organisations. By combining your existing personal skills with the coaching and mentoring you will receive, you will have the opportunity to build your career and become a highly experienced Recruitment Consultant.


Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following;

  • Proactively searching, identifying and approaching suitable candidates through meticulous searching techniques and advanced online recruitment platforms
  • Conducting research and assisting recruitment consultants for highly senior assignments
  • Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts across a wide range of social media and digital platforms
  • Attracting candidates and matching them to temporary and permanent positions with our clients
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidates
  • Preparing CV's and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
  • Organising interviews for candidates with clients
  • Working with existing clients and building relationships to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs
  • Develop and building relationships with new clients to grow our business further
  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies


Knowledge and experience required;

  • You must be a degree qualified individual with excellent communication skills
  • A preference will be given to candidates who have achieved a First in a technical degree (degree can range from IT and Software Development, to Engineering among others)
  • Must have a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Must have exceptional written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to learn and eager for exposure to the recruitment industry
  • You will have the ability to articulate and explain complex technical requirements clearly
  • You will have excellent active listening skills and be driven by a desire to learn and succeed
  • You will be focused, analytical and have a keen attention to detail
  • You must be computer literate
