Job description
Personal Assistant to The CFO (Chief Financial Officer), plus support to the Legal Director. This role should be considered a 70/30 split with majority of time priority dedicated to The CFO. Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a desirable advantage.
Previous experience in a similar PA/Team Assistant role within a global company is required for this role.

PAYE Contract

£13.00 to £14.50 /hour (approximately £26,000 - £28,000 per annum) + performance bonus

1 year contract (renewal likely)

Key responsibilities:
Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence, complaints, queries and phone calls, and handling them appropriately;
Dealing with incoming email, faxes and mail, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;
Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
Booking and arranging travel, visa, catering, transport and accommodation;
Collating and filing expenses;
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients;
Miscellaneous tasks to support manager, which will vary according to the manager's requests;
Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, controlling access to the manager/executive;
Managing databases and filing systems for the Finance Team and Legal Team;
Organising events and conferences, taking responsibility for logistics and documents;
Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines;
Typing, taking minutes, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence, editing legal documents
Using a range of software packages;
On-call duty if necessary.
Supporting the company secretary team with coordinating of board etc meetings for project companies;

Competence required:
Strong attention detail, with flexibility in organisation of changing workloads and priorities;
An effective communicator confident in dealing with internal and external clients alike and with an excellent command of English grammar;
Pro-active, organized, and team oriented;
A quick learner who thrives in a new and challenging situation.
Essential experience required:
A minimum of 2 year's working experience;
Numerate with ability to understand financial information; Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential. Skills in MS SharePoint and Project desirable.
