Our client, based in Mayfair, is a successful multi-family office that specialises in real estate investment and advisory work. They carry out a number of strategies, including real estate bridge and development financing, direct real estate investment and development. They are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and oversee the lending division of the business.


The ideal candidate will have started their career within a professional services firm prior to moving in-house to work in a financial services environment. Specific experience in a bridge lending or development finance business would be an advantage but is not a requirement. Financial consolidation experience is a necessity.


Role responsibilities:

  • Financial reporting for all bridge lending entities (currently 25+)
  • Day to day booking of transactions (Xerox system)
  • Cash flow management and reporting
  • Managing AP in respect of the lending business
  • Monitor interest receipts and redemption dates
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of budgets
  • Preparation of other ad-hoc reports for lending team
  • Working alongside external advisors to make sure tax returns and statutory accounts are filed
  • Management of intercompany transactions
  • Financial consolidation
  • Liaising closely with the bridge lending team


Qualifications / Experience required:

  • ACA, CA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience of financial consolidation and intercompany is essential
  • Experience of Xero is preferred but not essential
  • Financial services / banking sector experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
