Our Client are a rapidly growing, leading, global pricing and market access Consultancy to the international pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. They cultivate a culture of forward-thinking innovation to their bespoke data analytics and business intelligence solution for their pharmaceutical and biotech clients worldwide, and are looking to hire a Software Engineer for their central London Headquarters.

You will be a full stack, Agile experienced individual, responsible for the development and support of their state-of-the-art web platforms, and will have the opportunity to explore cutting edge technologies, such as machine learning, whilst contributing to the overall operational success of the business. In return, you will receive a rewards package including a £40,000 salary per annum, plus benefits, as well as the chance to work in one of the most innovative and fast-growing, dynamic pharmaceutical consultancies industry wide.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven, extensive background in full stack software development and web platform development is essential
  • Experience in C#, JavaScript, .Net Core and MongoDB is crucial
  • You must be University degree qualified in IT, Software Development or similar subject
  • Full stack experience in building database driven web platforms is essential
  • You must have proven knowledge and experience in Agile practices and methodology
  • You must have proven experience in front end UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface)
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be confident, articulate public speaker
  • You will have the ability to effectively relate complex technical issues to a business audience
  • You will be highly skilled in working both independently and as part of a team, whilst integrating with other cross-functional teams as necessary
  • You will be a motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual who is keen to embrace innovation and new ideas

Role and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • You will be playing a crucial role developing web platforms using Agile to improve both back end data ingest and analysis processes as well as the product front end UX/UI
  • Introduce new tools and technologies to assist with data processing and analysis
  • Develop and support proprietary platforms and products
  • Follow and support the team code standards and development strategy
  • Assist in customer support queries when escalated by the client facing teams
  • Effectively communicate complex technical issues to wider teams and business audiences
