Our Client are an industry-leading, accredited Contractor with over 40 years of experience providing high-tech maintenance, renovation and inspection services to industrial, commercial and residential clientele nationwide.

Our Client now have an excellent opening for a Transport Administrator to join their team on a permanent, staff basis. This role is based in their brand-new office in Slough.

You would be the key point of contact for all vehicle administration including arranging MOT's, booking vans, recording monthly vehicle mileage among other tasks as detailed below. This role will pay £20,000 to £25,000 per annum.


Role and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Online monitoring and reporting of all vehicle related activities and vehicle checks and records
  • Arrange MOT with Cordwallis and saving all paperwork into vehicle folders
  • Stock checking of vehicle equipment and ensuring correct signage on all vehicles
  • Ensuring any defects are remedied and ordering new cards and replacement vehicle stickers
  • Adding new vehicles to the Truckfile database
  • Booking Vans with TD Commercials
  • Ensuring PMI are completed on time and correctly and all defects are dealt with
  • Keeping record of Tyre depths monthly
  • Updating spreadsheet
  • Ensuring all van packs are up to date with accident forms and insurance details and current driving policy and emergency contact details and RAMS
  • Maintaining servicing history on file
  • Overseeing the administration of the fleet management review
  • Conducting reports on Co2 emissions for driving in London
  • Online monitoring and reporting / recording driving times for HGV Drivers
  • Ensuring all vehicles meet the requirements for Tideway and FORS
  • Arranging for vehicles to be weighed at the local weigh bridge to ensure vehicles are within the correct weight
  • Conducting Tool Box Talks for overloading, inspections, accidents fines and other topics
  • Recording Vehicle Mileage monthly for fuel reports and checking with all drivers to ensure this is completed every time they fill up for fuel.
  • Checking all safety equipment is in date for confined space activities
  • Organising New Driver Inductions
  • Conducting Driver License checks
  • Recording all fines and Driving offences and recovering the cost / appeals processing. Arrangement of salary deductions and sending out appropriate letters
