Marketing Lead

Responsible for the creation and management of the company's marketing initiatives. Creating and delivering content for trade fairs, on-line website presence and other relevant digital media outlets. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Protects the branding design and use throughout the business. Maintain a high quality of work and consider improvements where possible. The position reports to the Operations Manager.

Job Duties

  • Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Oversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new materials and content
  • Plans, schedules, and develops marketing materials to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
  • Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
  • Works with the team to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams
  • Approves and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
  • Communicates with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition
  • Provides in-depth information to interested clients, and acts as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings
  • Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service
  • Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior Pharmaceutical industry experience helpful particularly in a consulting environment.
  • Highly organised – creative marketing development skills essential
  • Demonstrable understanding and experience of a corporate marketing department in the private sector
  • Advanced communication skills, written, verbal, presentation
  • Experience in negotiating and working with suppliers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have the ability to engage and motivate others to support your needs
  • Have strong problem solving skills and drive to achieve results
  • Possess a relevant Degree in marketing or a related field
