Simpson Booth are currently working with an internationally renowned manufacturer of innovative products for the construction sector. This organisation is currently undergoing a major global expansion through both acquisitions and organic growth.

We are supporting them in the recruitment of a Director - Group Sales & Marketing Excellence to be based in any major global hub city where they have operations (14 countries currently), with significant international travel.

Employment Mode: Full time, permanent

Location: Global, with up to 75% global travel

The Director is responsible for developing and leading the growth strategy of our client. He/she will work with the sales and marketing teams globally to identify, plan and execute growth strategies and drive continuous improvement.

The role has responsibility for driving our client's program on world-class sales and marketing. This involves developing and implementing processes that drive productivity improvement and deliver business goals. These activities cover all aspects of sales and marketing, and the Director's position is accountable for ensuring these are aligned to customer needs.

He/She will analyze, benchmark and improve key processes while ensuring all relevant people are engaged and understand the need to support continuous improvement. Responsibility includes regular audits of all regions to ensure they effectively use key processes, and that they set and achieve targets for key performance indicators. Working with global, subject-matter experts, he/she will ensure that the local organizations understand and adapt processes to each region's business model.

As a driver of the company's growth strategy, he/she will work with business and functional leaders on all strategic and implementation programs related to marketing. This includes developing go-to-market strategies for each region including their approaches to channels, positioning, pricing and promotion.

As Director Global Marketing Strategy you will have the opportunity to shape the company through performance improvement of sales and marketing. A brilliant role for an ambitious self-starter, you will work both autonomously and with a maxtrix support team as required.
