CASE STUDY/ PROSERV

 

Proserv is an international energy services company specialising in the provision of life-of-field solutions. The company operates worldwide from 18 sites across four distinct Business Units: Subsea Production Controls; Production Equipment and Services; Drilling Controls and Subsea Services.

When they had a requirement for a Vice President of Business Improvement, they approached Simpson Booth Ltd to work with them in sourcing candidates with a very niche skillset for their business.

We worked closely with Proserv to fully understand the requirements for the position. From that point, we mapped out the relevant markets to fully identify potential candidates. Applying our search methodology to access suitable and available individuals we then conducted initial interview screening and a thorough selection process on each of the short listed candidates. As a part of the initial selection we had to determine technical and team fit, soft skills capability including the ability to influence and drive an operational excellence programme with a focus on quality, LEAN processes as a part of a highly precise manufacturing system.

We were able to find a range of candidates for Proserv to select from. They were delighted with the efficiency of the process and our ability to source a pool of candidates with niche skill set required.
